Sea Freight
What is the difference between FCL & LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) means you use an entire container exclusively for your cargo. LCL (Less Container Load) allows you to share container space with other shipments, making it a more cost-effective solution for smaller cargo.
Which shipping method is suitable for my cargo?
The best shipping method depends on your cargo type, volume, delivery time, and budget. Our team will recommend the most suitable solution.
How long does sea freight usually take?
Transit time depends on the origin, destination, shipping route, and vessel schedule. Our team will provide the estimated transit time based on your shipment.
Air Freight
What goods are suitable for Air Freight?
Air freight is suitable for general cargo, high-value products, urgent shipments, perishables, and other time-sensitive goods.
How fast is Air Freight delivery?
Transit time depends on the destination, flight schedule, customs clearance, and airline availability.
Trucking
Do you provide trucking services only?
Yes. Our trucking services support every stage of your logistics process, including cargo pickup, container transport from the container yard (CY) to the stuffing warehouse, return to the port, and final delivery to your designated location.
Customs & Documentation
Can Sejati Cargo help with customs clearance?
Yes. Our experienced team can assist with export and import customs clearance to help ensure your shipment complies with local and international regulations.
How do you handle quarantine for agricultural goods?
We arrange the Phytosanitary Certificate with Quarantine and handle container fumigation.
Can you handle export documents like PEB and COO?
Yes. We are a licensed PPJK (Customs Broker). We process PEB and COO directly.
What happens if my container gets a Red Channel at customs?
Our field team acts as your proxy to speed up the physical inspection (Behandling) and minimize port storage fees.

We use Reefer containers with active temperature monitoring and request priority discharging from the shipping line once the vessel arrives.

Are there direct international flights/vessels from Belawan?
Yes, we have direct sea routes to Singapore and Port Klang (Malaysia). Other global destinations are connected via these hubs.
How long does delivery take from Belawan Port to Sumatra plantations?
Trucking to regional areas like KIM I–VI, Binjai, Deli Serdang, Asahan, Rantau Prapat, Kisaran, Lubuk Pakam, Tapanuli, or cross-border areas Karo/Sidikalang takes 1–2 business days.

What is the maximum weight allowed for trucks in North Sumatra?
To comply with local road rules, the recommended maximum cargo net weights are:
- 20ft Container: 18–23 Tons.
- 40ft Container: 22–24 Tons.
Do you provide Reefer (refrigerated) containers?
Yes, we rent and handle Reefer Containers for temperature-sensitive goods like vegetables and seafood.
How many free days (Demurrage) do we get at the Medan depot?
It depends on the shipping line, usually 3–5 days for domestic and up to 7 days for international cargo.
